Concept: Unique and elegant.

Background: Perla is the collection of art by Jill Perla, which was created when Jill’s father began painting as a therapeutic outlet to deal with illness. This inspired Jill to access her own creativity through creating a new expression for existing art. She provides original and reproduction art for interior designers and home stagers. Perla also refinishes dated canvases and frames.

Method: Jill wanted her logo and collateral materials to convey transformation and elegance. We chose a strong, feminine typeface, and the rich plum color to communicate elegance.

World Health Partners: Bihar brochure

Project: Brochure for World Health Partners (WHP), highlighting a program they have in Bihar, India.

Solution: WHP’s network model for providing health care in remote and rural sections of India is a very complicated one. In order to make WHP’s mission and model easy to understand, we needed to strike a good balance between the large amount of text produced for this brochure, and images that convey their work. This required a good deal of editing.

Project: Bread for the World advocates on behalf of the hungry and the poor, and teaches the general public how to get in touch with Congress to make their voices heard.

As a way to showcase InterAction members’ work in the field, we asked the NGOs to provide footage and still images of projects that have illustrated impact, and we created a short video. InterAction is the largest alliance of U.S.-based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), with more than 190 members working in every developing country.
